How Much Does Car Detailing Cost in Kent?

A full inside-and-out car detail in Kent costs $259 to $589 plus tax with Tidy Touch, depending on your vehicle's size and how long it's been since the last cleaning. Kent is inside our 20-mile service area, so we come to your driveway or office at no travel charge.

Which package does your car need?

The biggest thing that decides your price isn't the model. It's how long since the car was last cleaned. Use this as a starting point:

So a mid-size SUV that was last cleaned 8 months ago would usually start at the Plus Combo, $355 plus tax. A minivan that has never been professionally detailed would start at the Premium Combo, $589 plus tax.

What each full detail includes

• Express Combo: wash, rims, windows, vacuum and wipe-down. A refresh for a car that's already in good shape.
• Plus Combo: steam-cleaned plastics, plus carpet or seat extraction. A good fit for a car that's been through a Washington winter of wet shoes and muddy floor mats.
• Premium Combo: full extraction, steam, and sealant on the outside. For cars that haven't been cleaned in a year or more.

Most inside-and-out details take 3.5 to 4 hours.

Interior or exterior only

If only one side needs work, you don't have to pay for both.

Interior: Plus Interior covers vacuum, steamed plastics, windows, and carpet or seat extraction. Premium Interior is our deepest interior, with carpets, seats and mats extracted and leather conditioned. Mold Removal is a full steam and enzyme sanitize, extraction, and ozone through the vents.

Exterior: Express Wash covers the wash, door jambs, rims, tire dressing and windows. Premium Wash & Seal adds a 3 to 6 month coating plus undercarriage, jambs, rims and tires. Recovery Wash & Seal adds tar and iron removal and a clay bar, for paint that feels rough after months of road grime.

Kent sees plenty of rain from fall through spring, and wet roads throw a film of grime onto lower panels and wheels. A wash with a sealant on top makes that film easier to rinse off between visits.

Ceramic coating in Kent

Every coating uses Gyeon Q² Mohs EVO and comes with a written warranty:

• 2-Year Coating: decon, clay, 1-step polish. $1,295 plus tax ($1,489 for a 3-row SUV or truck).
• 5-Year Coating: 2-step correction that removes 80 to 90% of swirls, and trim restored. $1,695 plus tax ($1,949).
• 9-Year Coating: dual layer, with glass and wheel faces coated. $2,395 plus tax ($2,754).

Coatings take most of a day, and the 9-year coating takes two days. Every coating requires a Coating Care Plan to keep the warranty valid.

Is there a travel fee to Kent?

No. We come to homes and offices within 20 miles of Renton, and Kent is well inside that, including ZIPs 98030, 98031, 98032 and 98042. The $1.25 per extra mile charge only applies beyond 20 miles.

You also don't need to provide anything but a parking spot. Our van carries its own water tank and generator, so there's no hose hookup or outlet needed. That works at an office as well as a driveway, as long as we can park next to your car.

Who does the work

Tidy Touch is owned and run by Daniel Christianson in Renton. Every detailer is a trained W-2 employee, not a contractor, and the company carries general liability insurance.
